Our History

Hudson Valley Radiology Associates was started over 40 years by a group of radiologists under the name Rockland Radiological Group. They quickly became leaders in the community for their diagnostic accuracy and their state-of-the art equipment. They opened their Mid Rockland Imaging location in New City, NY in 1988, their Nyack Hospital MRI location in 1992 and their New Paltz Imaging location in New Paltz, NY in 1998. They were the first to bring PET to Rockland with the opening of Hudson Valley PET Imaging in 2003. They relocated Hudson Valley PET Imaging to the campus of Nyack Hospital in 2008 and opened their brand new Tuckahoe location in 2008.  In April of 2009, they expanded  their services in Westchester County through an aquisition to include HVRA of Inter-County.

Today Hudson Valley Radiology Associates is partnered with RadNet, Inc., a national leader in diagnostic imaging. With this partnership, Hudson Valley Radiology Associates is affiliated with more than 160 centers in California, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Florida, Delaware, Colorado, Kansas and Minnesota.
